“Prepped and ready to go!”

“Let’s talk meal prep...” Is it convenient?  Yes. Does it help you to stay on track with your dietary goals?  Yes.  Is it the most nutritious option?... well....not necessarily. Prepped meals usually consist of foods that have been cooked thoroughly and packaged to simply be reheated and consumed. One must remember that if the food isn’t mainly raw ingredients or heated to a temperature less than 145 degrees, most of the nutrients has been depleted.  It is this reason that I recommend incorporating raw foods alongside your delicious previously prepped meals.
